Architect Richard Villano, an architectural and consulting firm located in Ocean, New Jersey, provides a full scope of architectural services to builders, developers, the commercial owners, home owners, municipalities, public and private agencies, and religious institutions.

This award winning firm was established in 1968 as SAMUEL P. ABATE, AIA, in Asbury Park, NJ and moved to the current location Ocean Township (Monmouth County) in 1984.  In 1992, Mr. Abate introduced Richard Villano, as partner in the firm name to ABATE/VILLANO, P.A., Architects & Planners.  In 2004, Samuel P. Abate retired and the name of the firm was changed to ARCHITECT RICHARD VILLANO, P.A.   The size of the firm continues to grow and varies as the need has dictates.

Because of our long and diversified experience, the firm has established a comprehensive list of expert consultants who we have utilized successfully depending upon project requirements.  Included in this group are landscape architectural firms, structural engineers, mechanical engineers, solar and energy conservation experts, surveyors and numerous product experts (such as, truss systems, security systems, kitchen and custom built in cabinetry, etc.) giving access to the expertise required for any project which we may encounter.  The scope of work produced by the firm includes:

• pre-design services, including feasibility studies,
• the preparation of site plan approval presentations, conceptual architectural studies,
• the design and preparation of construction documents,
• the processing of bidding documents,
• administration of construction documents, visits to the site and client representation during construction, for projects involving industrial, institutional, residential, municipal and recreational facilities.  

Our office is fully automated.  We have several C.A.D.D. stations using AutoCAD based software in the production of plans.
